She Can Camp Out Series

We are headed to Lake Louisa State Park. Located in the heart of Central Florida, Clermont is the land of "Florida Mountains". It's one of the few places in Florida for "flat landers" (like myself) to experience changes in elevation on a trail. 

Some activities you can do during your stay:

• Biking - from 7 miles of paved to 20 miles of unpaved (Bring your own bike or the park ahs bikes you can rent per hour or for the whole trip. See the park website for details.)
• Fishing - there are 4 lakes to choose from witha. variety of fish to catch. No motor boats allowed on the lakes, and be sure to have your Florida Fishing Permit before any fishing.
• Geocaching - Open the app and go on hunt to find one of the 16 caches at this park (availability of caches is not gauranteed). 
• Hiking - Take to trails and hike up to 20 miles of trails in 11 different habitat communities. 
• Horse Back Riding - Take to the trails, equestrian style! 
• Paddle Sports - Canoe, Kayak or Paddle Board one of the 4 lakes at the state park. Guided tours and rentals available on the State Park Website. 
• Swimming - Relax on the beach or take a dip in Lake Louisa in the large designated swimming area. 

Other Accommodations available thru the state park. (The following accomodations are thru the State Park, If you stay in one of theses please purchase the Camper Day Pass Tickets).

• Cabins - rent one of the 20 cabins over looking Dixie Lake. 
• Campgrounds - Tent & RV spots available for rent thru the state park website.
• Glamping - Camp in luxury in one of their many Glamping style campsites. 

We will have many classes & mini events throughout the weekend. Some of these include:

• Photography Class
• Yoga/ Mediation Classes
• Nightly Campfires 
• She-Market on Saturday Morning - This is kind of like a flea market at the camp site. Any attendees that are small businesses, crafters, artists, ect can set up a table and sell their goods/services with no fee. Some ideas for items to sell are paintings, leather art, handmade jewelry, crochet & knitting products, ect... If you wish to participate in the She-Market Saturday morning from 8am-11am please fill out the form (link to come soon). If you or someone who know wants to set up at the She-Market but is not planning on being an attendee you can purchase one of 10 spots for a fee of $50 (email for details - info@shecanadventure.com)
• Ticket includes ONE excursion (choose from the list below). Want to go on more than one excursion? Purchase more excursion tickets (info coming soon).
• She Can Swip Swap Station - All weekend we will have a tent set up with racks and tables. This tent will serve as a place where you can donate your old gear and clothing, and take any gear or clothing that you'd like. Everything in this tent will be FREE, please only take what you need. This is a place to help women who don't have items they need. So empty those closets and help those who are in need, and who knows you might find some treasures of your own in the Swip Swap Tent!
