The Florida Trail Association builds, maintains, protects, and promotes the unique Florida National Scenic Trail (Florida Trail), along with a network of hiking trails throughout the state of Florida. Together with our partners, the Association provides opportunities for the public to contribute to meaningful volunteer work, engage in outdoor recreation, and participate in environmental education.
Chelsea Collison is the Community Outreach Manager with a combined 10 years of experience in outreach, education, and programming for nonprofit organizations. She most recently worked five years as an educator for the Florida Museum of Natural History. Chelsea specializes in using communication strategies and partnership-building to increase public awareness, appreciation, and curiosity for our natural world. She holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of Florida and a master’s degree in museum studies from Johns Hopkins University. In her free time, Chelsea likes to hike with friends, swim or scuba in the Florida springs, or settle in with a good book.
Jenna Taylor is the Central/Southern Regional Trail Program Manager. Joining the team in 2020, Jenna has over 15 years of volunteer management experience in the nonprofit sector. Prior to the FTA, she spent 7 years as a Program Director for an AmeriCorps program on the Treasure Coast. When she isn't working or hiking , Jenna spends her time as a volunteer as an equestrian coach for Special Olympics, a GIrls on The Run coach and as the volunteer manager for the Treasure Coast Night To Shine.
